Wolverhampton Canalside

  • Major, mixed-use development opportunity over 4.7ha
  • Adjacent to £150 million integrated transport hub
  • Majority of sites owned by canalside partners
  • Attractive city centre living proposition for over 600 new homes
  • Immediate opportunities

1. Wolverhampton Canalside

Wolverhampton Canalside offers a unique opportunity for a distinct and regionally important development.

The 4.7 hectare site is owned by four key partners working together to regenerate the area: Canal and River Trust, City of Wolverhampton Council, Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Network Rail and the West Midlands Combined Authority. Partners are delighted to announce the launch of the Wolverhampton Canalside Delivery Partnership to bring forward this exciting opportunity.

The site is minutes away from the city centre and Interchange and there are no complex compulsory purchase orders (CPOs) to perform. Early ideas for the site include an anchor leisure scheme clustered around existing historic buildings which could include destination restaurants and a micro-brewery. There's also the potential for residential apartments, creative workspaces and a city centre marina development. LED and mood lighting around the canals and tunnels are also being progressed.

We're open to ideas so please come and talk to us.
